今年的寒假与以往有些不同，受新冠肺炎影响，众多高校延长假期推迟开学。在此期间，我校共有5名留学生、2名外教在校。在疫情发生后，国际交流中心国际合作学院领导小组根据陕西省教育厅、省政府外事办公室等上级主管部门和学校防控领导小组统一部署，按照中外趋同管理的原则，及时布置安排留学生、外教疫情防控相关工作，网格化管理，有效预防并妥善应对疫情防控期间涉及留学生和外教管理的各项工作。

隔离不隔情，居家有保障。课程在线教，进度不拖延。考虑到外教、留学生的中文交流障碍和有效防控疫情传播，我校国际交流中心每天专人记录外籍人员体温，及时传达疫情防护知识，定期为在校留学生、外教提供相关保障，每周对他们的居住场所全面消毒杀菌。同时，为有效落实学校教研部“学生不返校、教学不停止”的文件精神，协助指导外教、留学生使用网络教学平台，鼓励外教通过在线直播与我校学生交流，鼓励留学生在线上与任课老师探讨交流。

在此特殊期间，我们来听听留学生和外教的心声：

安明杰

"Hola, me llamo Adrián de España y actualmente soy estudiante de Xi’an international university, en este momento me encuentro en la universidad, pero debido a el virus no es posible tener clase con normalidad, por lo que la mejor solución es estudiar en casa en el tiempo libre, a pesar de este contratiempo considero que aquí es muy seguro, ya que no hay demasiada gente , todos los estudiantes están en sus respectivas casas, solo quedamos algunos estudiantes y profesores extranjeros que vinimos antes de que el virus se propagará por todo China. Además hay controles para la gente que entra y sale de la universidad, por lo que estar aquí es muy seguro para todos los que estamos, aún así espero que el problema acabe pronto y el gobierno tome las medidas necesarias para acabar con el virus y poder volver a la normalidad y energía en el campus de XAIU."

“大家好，我叫Adrian（安明杰），我是西安外事学院的一名留学生，来自西班牙。这段时间虽然受疫情的影响，不能正常去教室上课，但我每天都会抽时间自己学习汉语，有不懂的问题也可以在线咨询老师解决。因为开学延期，学生们都不返校，学校只有少数留学生和部分外教，但是大家都各自待在学校提供的宿舍里，我觉得很安全。在此期间，我们也感受到了学校对我们的关怀与帮助，会定期询问我们需要什么，这让我们感到很安心。我相信中国政府一定尽快能攻克疫情，取得胜利，让外事学院早日恢复青春与活力！”

Johnno

"My name is Johnno, and I am an exchange student from Belgium, living here in Xi'an International University. When I first heard of the novel corona virus outbreak I didn't think much of it, and thought it would blow over quickly. As the time went on and the scale of the situation became larger, I have never feared for my safety here. Both the school and the authorities have made it feel like the situation is largely under control and specifically watching the construction of an entire hospital in about 10 days was awe-inspiring. Personally, the hardest part is being unable to go out of the house as we please, and we have to sacrifice the joys of discovering the city and most importantly, the food here. But I know the situation is worse in a lot of places, especially in the epicenter in Wuhan. My heart goes out especially to all those people working in the medical sector working around the clock to keep patients cared for and that are fighting this infection. I wish good luck to all of them and hope they get reminded enough what good work they are doing."

“我叫Johnno ，目前是西安外事学院一位来自比利时的交换生。当我第一次听说新冠状病毒时，并没有多想，直到疫情越发严重。我从来都没担心过我在中国的安全，因为学校和政府机构都让我感觉到疫情是可控的，特别是在10天内建成的“火神山“ 医院真的很让人钦佩！就个人而言，虽然最不能随意进出去发掘更多西安的美食及乐趣，但与其他城市相比，武汉等城市的情况更严峻。医护人员24小时不停地工作，努力为病人提供护理，并与感染作斗争，这让我对所有医疗部门的人心怀敬畏，我对他们给予最真挚的祝福，并希望他们的努力能被大家所铭记。”

白聪悦

“我叫白聪悦，来自比利时，今年 22岁。我在西安已经六个月了，现在在西安外事学院读书 。我很喜欢旅游，所以每次有机会都坐飞机去看中国最有名的景点。我春节之前打算去很多地方，但是由于冠状病毒，我已经在家五个星期了。因为是第一次面对这样的情况，学校国际交流中心的老师给我发了很多信息，包括怎么可以保护身体健康、怎么可以买东西、如果要出去戴口罩等，这些信息帮了我很多，让我知道怎么保护我和我朋友。目前的生活虽然变了一点儿，但还要很多东西可以做: 视频交流、读书、复习汉语、每天都有新的体验! 我想对医护人员说: 感谢你们的努力! 疫情一定会过去! 我们一起注意安全、增强保护！加油!”

Robin De Stickere

"Today I woke up to another pile of messages from friends and family back home. My name is Robin De Stickere and I’ve been in XAIU for nearly six months now, yet this is has been the first period where I’ve been getting so much attention from my countrymen back in Belgium. Ever since news of the outbreak of the COVID-2019, I have been overloaded with questions from relatives, friends and, of course, a very concerned girlfriend. Every day I have to respond to at least three of these inquiries: ‘How’s life there?’, ‘are you safe?’ and ‘when are you coming back home?’. The first two are relatively easy to answer. Life in Xi’an is safe. We try to stay indoors and reduce any risk of infection by rigorously following any instructions we receive. As XAIU takes good care of us and provides us with plenty of support. As for the final question, I can only explain that I feel too inspired to go back home. I’m inspired by the efficiency that China handled to contain the virus with incredible speed it constructed hospitals and took every measure necessary to curb the spread of corona I’ve witnessed among the Chinese people, who are united and everyone actively abided by the suggestions.

I will stand my ground with China in its fight against the corona virus and fulfill my duties here, just as every Chinese staying inside in home. I will learn Chinese in home, I would like to say: 中国加油！武汉加油!"

“今早醒来，我又收到了一堆来自家乡朋友和家人的信息。我叫罗宾·德·斯蒂克，我在西安外事学院学习已经了近六个月了，第一次在中国受到比利时同胞如此密切的关注。自新疫情暴发后，我就被周围的亲戚、朋友，当然还有一个非常关心我的女友反复的询问。每天几乎要回答三个问题：“那里的生活怎么样？你安全吗？你什么时候回家？”前两个比较容易回答。西安的生活目前非常安全, 因为学校给予我们很多帮助和支持。我们尽量待在室内，严格宅家减少出门感染的风险。至于最后一个问题，我只能解释目前的状况是还不回家，我告诉他们自己被中国控制病毒的的效率所鼓舞了。中国以令人难以置信的速度建造了医院，并采取了一切必要措施来抑制病毒的传播。中国人民团结一致，每个人都积极配合。我将和中国站在一起抗击病毒，履行我在这里的职责，就如每个中国人一样在自家隔离，我会在家学习中文，我想说：中国加油，武汉加油！”

另一位来自比利时的留学生写到：

"Even though our current situation is not pleasant, we the people who are not fighting the coronavirus on the frontlines are still very lucky and thankful. We are thankful for all the hard work doctors, nurses, police officers and many other people are doing every day. We are thankful that these people without hesitation or fear for their own health are willing to fight against the coronavirus to such an extent. Because of these heroes I feel safe, because of these heroes I am healthy and because of these heroes I know that we will win this fight against the coronavirus. Thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I hope you are safe and I hope you are healthy."

“虽然此时的情况非常艰难，但我们这些没有在前线抗击冠状病毒的普通人仍然感到非常幸运及感激。我们感谢医生、护士、警察和许多在抗疫一线的人每天所做的辛勤工作。我们感谢这些人在疫情期间毫不犹豫的付出及无私的奉献，因为这些英雄，我感到安全。因为这些英雄，我依旧特别健康。因为这些英雄，我知道我们将赢得这场与冠状病毒的斗争。谢谢，发自内心的感谢。我希望大家都安全健康。

此外，在校的两位外教均高度赞扬我国政府应对疫情的正确做法和及时防控，他们说，目前据了解几乎各大超市都能满足大家日常所需的物品，而且价格都很合理。另外，他们居住的公寓每天都有严格检查，测量体温，保证了大家的安全，减少了担心。希望在这个困难时刻大家能团结一致共克服疫情。待结束后，外教们想好好再感受西安这座城市的魅力，继续去吃自己喜爱的西安美食！”
